North Shropshire Furniture Scheme
By collecting reusable furniture donated by local families and delivering it to those in need, North Shropshire Furniture Scheme not only relieves poverty but also helps to take care of our environment.
North Shropshire Furniture Scheme has been collecting from the North Shropshire District Council area for 5 years and providing the opportunity for low income families and people in receipt of benefits to purchase, at low cost, furniture, household and electrical items. Recently we extended our area of coverage to include south west Cheshire.
North Shropshire Furniture Scheme works closely with Shropshire County Council, Social Services, District Council Housing and Benefit Departments, Citizens Advice Bureaux, Infolinks and local Health Visitors and Doctors.
