Blacon Furniture Project, part of Blacon Community Trust (Registered Charity No 1063083) is “working towards a better Blacon”. Blacon Furniture Project works alongside Chester City and Cheshire County Councils to prevent re-usable items of furniture, household and electrical items needlessly filling local landfill sites and spoiling the local environment.
These good quality, re-usable items, at really affordable prices are for sale to everyone at the local store in Blacon.
BFP actively encourage local people to volunteer and engage with their community. Volunteering can give someone hands-on work experience, increase self-esteem, provide free training opportunities and is a great way to meet new people and get chatting. |
