Christian Concern, Crewe is a charity that started in 1987.
We collect, restore and redistribute items of furniture donated to us by the folk who have no further need of it. These are then passed on to needy people in our community, referred to us by professionals from other services.
At the same time, ‘delivering the goods’ has enabled us to offer training opportunities and supported employment to young people and adults who would otherwise be difficult to place, including some with special needs.
The vision is to support the poor and marginalised, in order to restore their self-worth and encourage them to believe they can make a positive contribution to their community. |
